primitive spider sp? - Sphodros fitchi
Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma, USA

Found on the shoulder of a street running along in a more or less direct line. Time about 1730 on first dry day after over a week of heavy daily rains. Reminds me of a thin version of a trapdoor spider, but I've never seen one out and about. Id? Is it common to this area? Many thanks!
