You are right, nice photograph of a well marked moth. I see two very good possibilities Zanclognatha obscuripennis and Zanclognatha cruralis. I don't make species calls in this difficult Genus. Steve Nanz has been working on the area and will come along fairly soon I am sure and move it to the proper species.
