Imperial Moth - Egg to Caterpillar Sequence - Eacles imperialis

Imperial Moth - Egg to Caterpillar Sequence - Eacles imperialis
Duluth, Fulton County, Georgia, USA
August 15, 2004
It's now six days since I found the egg and brought it home and one day before the egg hatches. The larva and various features are clearly visible inside the egg. The once green leaf is brown now because I snipped it to bring it home.
