Imperial Moth - Egg to Caterpillar Sequence - Eacles imperialis

Here's the little fella the same day he hatched. At this point I had no idea what he might be. Since I found him on sweetgum I provided some fresh leaves from a tree in my backyard but he showed no interest. He just sat in the same spot for days.
