Size: around 5 mm
note how front legs have quite large femurs.

. . . but who wonders in little creepers who prefer to disguise at the ground?
This is in fact the same family (Rhyparochromidae), but a new genus and species for bugguide: Megalonotus sabulicola.
(only this species listed in Nearctica, and specimen agrees well with it - probably introduction from Europe).
