Could be... I read that they are quite variable.

looks v. close to Cosmopepla lintneriana.

 
but looks closer to:
this one: Note the white spot on the hind legs!

dark variant or different species?

 
maybe
some variant where the dark spots on the pronotum have almost completely taken over so to speak?
