Ladybird Beetle7840 - Hippodamia convergens
Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, USA
May 28, 2015

Moved
Moved from Hippodamia.

Moved; that far north could be something other than convergens.
Moved from ID Request.

H. convergens likely
quinquesignata rarely shows a similar pattern. But when it does, the spot size is overall consistent.

Distribution of H; convergens
Hippodamia convergens appears to be present in Canadian provinces and the only other BugGuide record for South Dakota has been identified as H. convergens, which is from the same county as this record.
