Hunched Ant on Leaf - Temnothorax

Hunched Ant on Leaf - Temnothorax
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
May 4, 2007
Size: 2.4 mm is my estimate
I looked at photos in the guide. Genus Pyramica or similar? I'm thinking Myrmicinae anyway. ID help appreciated.

Moved
Moved from Ants.

Genus Temnothorax - worker
Subfamily was right. Pyramica belongs to the special tribe Dacetonini, whose member have a very peculiarl, pear-shaped head (in the female gender).

Thanks
