Galls on Serviceberry

Galls on Serviceberry
Husum, Klickitat County, Washington, USA
June 6, 2015
These galls appeared very suddenly (and I cannot find an insect with the naked eye) on Cusick's Serviceberry- Amelanchier cusickii. This shrub is growing near an Aspen grove on the edge of a wetland prairie remnant. Many thanks for your ID.
