unidentified - Laphria divisor - Male Female
Fish Farm Mounds State Preserve, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA
June 7, 2015
Size: female 30mm; male 20mm
They flew in tandem and lighted on several leaves as I followed them. They only seem to have two wings each so must be some sort of bee-mimic fly. Also made several side view images. Did not find them in our ID books.
