Fishing Spider - Dolomedes vittatus
Montgomery Bell State Park, Dickson County, Tennessee, USA
May 1, 2007
Size: 2 1/2 inch legspan
This huge fishing spider was standing on the bank of a creek with its front 4 legs resting on the water's surface. It was in the same spot a few nights later, using the same technique.
