Size: body length 7.0 mm.
We believe this is a Tabanid in the Subfamily Chrysopsinae.
The single yellow stripe suggest either Chrysops univittatus or C. upsilon. The wing pattern is not an exact match of C. univittatus as shown here, We haven't found any photos of C. upsilon.
