Scleropogon in Texas
Looks like 7 or so species in Texas according to the list that I guess you compiled based on Fisher, Wilcox, and Bromley's work. Thanks.

Sclero
Dr. Fisher thinks it is most likely S. picticornis. But that is not definite without a full wing view. Apparently the coloration is correct.

Robber
Female, and it must be a Scleropogon species but I have no way of narrowing it further. It is not Stenopogon inquinatus, the only one in TX in that other related genera. Fine detailed shot.
