Small, but very colorful spider - Leucauge venusta

Small, but very colorful spider - Leucauge venusta
Alexandria, Virginia, USA
July 3, 2015
Size: 1/2 inch
Found on a piece of plastic in an open carport close to a yew bush. It had spun a web and was waiting upside down for prey. Yard is in a typical mid-Atlantic suburban neighborhood. I flipped it over to get an overhead view.
