Molted
Great photo of a Neo hieroglyphica after it has inflated its wings, at this stage they have a faint Gold tint that disappears when they harded. I love their Camo color, makes them hard to spot on Oak tree's.

Of this imaginal molting. Judging from the shape of the newly emerged (male) adult, this could well be Neocicada hieroglyphica.
