Small Metallic Blue Fly

Size: 6mm
Look! He/she's doing the splits! This particular fly was found on a Rhododendron next to a Raspberry bush (Rubus). It was cold, so it was moving pretty slowly.

Notice the black halteres (somewhat difficult to see).
