I got this shot of a Carolina saddlebags at George L. Smith State Park in Emanuel County GA in June of 2015. (Edited thanks to a commenter who corrected my initial ID.)

Not an expert, but this looks more like a Tramea carolina, Carolina Saddlebags

Red Saddlebags have black only on top of S8 and S9 and less extensive red on the wings than yours appears to have .

I'm FAR from an expert, just like taking photos of these guys. I definitely think you're right; I'll make the edit. I'm an old dude, but I still like educating myself on wildlife. Thanks again!

 
You're Welcome...
If you're ever unsure about a species, it's best to place the image in the Odonata section or ID Request. That way the experts can find it more easily.
