Is this Phormia regina? I, unfortunately, did not save the fly for a specimen.

Certainly in the Phormiini...
Certainly in the Phormiini... I'm not familiar enough with Protocalliphora to exclude it entirely, but Phormia seems likely... a lateral shot showing the spiracle would have been useful.
