Hunchback Bee Fly? - Geron

I looked this up here in Bugguide as Hunchback Bee Fly, but the pics I found on here show something a little different: same shape in general, but this one I saw has less color and 'fuzz'. Any ideas appreciated.

There are quite a few Bombyliids
with this general shape. A number of people have been carefully working on these, so you may get an ID. You can browse them here and see which you like the best while you wait for one of the experts.
