A hopper? - Heliria cornutula

A hopper? - Heliria cornutula
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
July 13, 2015
Size: maybe ~ 7mm
Found near outdoor light in the evening. I wasn't sure that this tiny clump in the shade was a living thing until it started moving. An odd-looking bug.

Not much company in BugGuide!
Thank you, John, for not having lost interest in this bug - it being only the fourth individual in BugGuide I must conclude that the species is not very common.

Yes, a Treehopper
Looks like a Telamona.

Odd crowd
Thanks for pointing me to Telamona - with its odd shape my bug certainly fits into BugGuide's collection of images, but I have yet to find a match.
