Plume Moth - Hellinsia

Plume Moth - Hellinsia
Searcy County, Arkansas, USA
May 10, 2007
Genus Hellinsia?

Attracted to porch light.

Either Hellinsia elliottii or H. homodactylus....
...according to Debbie Matthews, pterophorid specialist. Many plume moths can be identified to species only by examination of the genitalia.

Hellinsia sp it is then.
Thanks for the additional information. (Marvin)
