caterpillar found on grape leaf - Geina

This caterpillar had rolled inself up in a wild grape leaf.

This is Geina, but it is diff
This is Geina, but it is difficult to distinguish between sheppardi and periscelidactylus based on an image. G. sheppardi larvae usually have darkly sclerotized thoracic legs and distinct head markings but these are not visible in the picture. The pink spot does not show up until the prepupal stage.

There are some similarities but enough differences that I hesitate to identify this as Geina. The pink color does not show, the body is not tapered and the head lacks the color change shown in the caterpillar athttp://www.oardc.ohio-state.edu/grapeipm/images/Grape%20Plume%20Moth%20B.jpg

 
Well, it was worth the shot anyway.
We will move this to the plume moths where we moved the other similar caterpillars. There doesn't seem to be anything that looks like this other than plumes. Don't know if that's what they all are, but at least they'll be together when we find someone who can maybe ID some.
