Bristletail

Bristletail
Swanton, Franklin County, Vermont, USA
May 16, 2007
Size: 3-4mm
Found under a rock near a river.

This is an immature specimen,
This is an immature specimen, so it cannot be easily identified. With a good close up of its face (particularly the lateral ocelli, which are just below the compound eyes) and the bases of the antennae with enough detail to discern whether or not the antennal bases are scaled may be sufficient for family-level and possibly genus-level identifications.

Species?
Is there anyone around here who can identify bristletails to at least genus level? :C
I'm noticing this to be a common trend through almost all my resources.

Bristletails
is one of the groups that hasn't had any experts comment on yet. Here's an article on getting experts to visit the site. Jim and a couple others had some luck on a few orders.
