Dark spider with white line down the back - Eriophora ravilla

Dark spider with white line down the back - Eriophora ravilla
Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas, USA
July 22, 2015
Size: Bigger than a quarter
Found in the bathroom near the ceiling above tub. At approximately 11am. Much larger when it ran. Was wondering if it is poisonous?

Moved
Moved from Eriophora.

Moved
Moved from Eriophora edax. Good point. Moved back out one level for further review.

Knowing how variable they are...
Is it possible this is E. ravilla? The combo of darker color with the white stripe does seem rare in E. ravilla, but the shape of the abdomen doesn't seem right with the more rounded appearance & without the more pointed posterior abdomen. Possibly just a darker variation of this or this?

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Yes, I think edax is right as well.

Wonder if it might be edax?
Don't think we have any from Texas yet. Will check
