I think it is an Orb spider but I do not find one with these markings

I would say Argiope aurantia with an interesting pattern on abdomen (maybe highlighted by the angle of photo.)
Compare the photo here (further down the page).
The legs seem to fit for A.aurantia.
A better dorsal view of abdomen would be interesting to be seen

Darn thing won't move to let me get a better angle! It's up against the patio wall and loves it there. The one in the back of the house clings to the wall area too. Camera shy!

Have not been able to get a better snap, darn thing moved into a corner, will keep trying

but we don't recognize it. Can you add some more images with more pixels from different perspectives?
