Apollophanes margareta ? - Philodromus

Apollophanes margareta ? - Philodromus
Emile County Park, Little River Road, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
June 24, 2015
Size: about 1 cm
So pretty how she perched on her web with her long legs stretched out. I'm just beginning to recognize running crab spiders, versus the ubiquitous golden rod crab spider. This spider had spun her web for her eggs under the eave of the outhouse at a little park surrounded by woods with a creek nearby. Forest surrounding the area. When we returned on July 13 the webbing was intact, but no adult. When we returned on July 21 it looked as though the spiderlings had hatched, i.e. a tidy hole in the webbing.
