The twice stabbed lady beetle,Chilocorus stigma Say (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) is predator of many scale insects and aphids. This specimen was captured in crape myrtle trees (Lagerstroemia spp.), and its larvae can feed the crape myrtle bark scale, Eriococcus lagerstroemiae KUWANA (Hemiptera: Eriococcidae).
