Treehopper - Cyrtolobus discoidalis
Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota, USA

Size: 8mm
Perhaps Andy could speciate this. I think it's a male. Side view and top view. On a Boxelder seedling but there are many Oak trees nearby.

Moved
Moved from Cyrtolobus.

Cyrtolobus discoidalis
I checked the original descriptions of C. funkhouseri and C. discoidalis, and find that they differ only in the length of the pronotum, which in the latter species extends as far as the marginal vein of the front wing, whereas in C. funkhouseri it is much shorter.

Cyrtolobus funkhouseri
The pronotum is more strongly arched than in other similar species.

Cyrtolobus discoidalis
I was wrong to call it C. funkhouseri - see comments, above.

Thanks Andy.
