exhausted brocade - Neoligia exhausta

exhausted brocade - Neoligia exhausta
Ailsa Craig, Ontario, Canada
June 28, 2004
Flew into an unused flower box on our porch and "disappeared" against the bare soil background. Has no common name. The Neoligia genus was described in 2002 and this species (formerly Oligia exhausta) was added to it, along with a dozen new ones. See pinned adult image and other info in Guide.

Snake Head
Every time I go past this photo in the guide, it looks like a snake head to me. Do you see it?
