I am also not a moth expert, but I would tend to agree with I Fox that this does not look like the other E. acrea -- it seems to be too lightly marked on the wings and also is lacking the noticeable banding on the legs. Moving to Spilosomina for further review.

I'm not a expert but I think that this one looks more like a Spilosoma
species to me, maybe an Agreeable Tiger Moth (Spilosoma congrua) or an Virginian Tiger Moth (Spilosoma virginica)
