This should fill up the FL portion of the data page. Seems odd there haven't been any of these for May in FL. They're really quite abundant here in May.

Often "most common"...
...seems to mean "least photographed". Congrats on filling in the grid on this one!

 
Ahhh...
Hadn't thought of that, but it makes total sense. I know I'm guilty of that, and even for this butterfly. I knew May was open for FL on the data page so I went after this one. I'm now going to try to fill in other blanks on the data page. I just never learn. Thanks for the insightful input.

 
In some forum, there's an entry about POES
which is Plain Old Everyday Species. A list was generated of insects conspicuous by their absence, including cochroaches if memory serves. (Hey, I don't want to admit I have them either!)

Separately, it's funny to see that we don't have honeybees in every state - yet - and how few house flies grace our site.
