Bark Beetle? - Trichocnemis spiculatus - Female

Size: ~2.5 inches
Found 6 of these huge beetles in a woodpile. They were under the bark of Ponderosa pine sections. I know this one is a female because she extended her ovipositor and another smaller beetle mounted her and mated.
