almost impossible by photo in all monochromous species . . .

Because antennae are somewhat serrate, I would GUESS for Mordella, IF size was above 7 mm.

I thought that little silver or white bit below might have helped, as I saw a recent ID on another with a bit of color. (This is the first time I'd seen anything other than black or pollen on one I'd shot.)
