fem Rabid Wolf? - Rabidosa rabida - female

fem Rabid Wolf? - Rabidosa rabida - Female
Newark, New Castle County, Delaware, USA
August 26, 2015
I'm really hoping this is the female (1)!
The male sat still and was aggressive, and didn't want to wander, much less run, off.
This one couldn't get away fast enough and I enlisted the aid of a leery
neighbor to keep an eye on her wanderings while I got the camera.
She, the spider not the neighbor, was spotted in the same area as the male of a few days ago!
I hope that doesn't mean that while enjoying a smoke in the grass I'll be overrun
soon by spiderlings, a la Gulliver. That much excitement I can do without.

Moved
Moved from Wolf Spiders.

Yay! Thank you! :o)
