Present in high numbers, including immature stages.
Will work on getting better image, including lateral view.

Corythucha arcuata
Oak lace bug. C. arcuata has a lot of variation within the species. This is a good example of it. Having the host plant and size information is very helpful. If you could post lateral views of the insect would be great.

the image was from last year, and the specimen is long gone... But I think I saw some more on campus (we have a lot of low hanging Q. macrocarpa branches) and I now have a better camera. So if I find more, I may 'frass' this image and replace it.

Present in high numbers
taking a straight dorsal shot & a profile of the hood won't be a problem then
very awkward angle here
please correct size units, too
