Hoffman's Cochlid Moth - Cochylichroa hoffmanana
Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA
August 29, 2015
Probable ID by Michael Sabourin: "hoffmanana is dirt common, more variable in color and tends to have a white spot along the anal margin of forewing - maina the post median band tends to be more complete giving an almost two banded appearance and the median band is wider along the hind margin - the specimen illustrated would fit more towards hoffmanana"
