Antlike Flower Beetle - Sapintus fulvipes

Antlike Flower Beetle - Sapintus fulvipes
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 27, 2007
Size: ~2.5mm

Thanks Don
I remeasured, and it's about 2.5mm, and definitely less than 3mm. Even chilled and still in a vial, it was walking a little, making a totally accurate measurement difficult.

Sapintus fulvipes
If your length measurement is correct. The other species, S. pubescens, is more like 3 mm or greater.
