Any thoughts on this flying insect?

This is a female crane fly,
and females in this family are usually difficult or impossible to identify. In this case, the extended abdomen suggests this species. This is a guess with no claimed expertise on my part, so don't make any moves until you hear from Dr. Chen Young!

Yes, this is a female
of Tipula longiventris. This is a new county record for Delaware County . Thanks - Chen
