Burying Beetle - Nicrophorus guttula

Size: about 18-20mm
Guy Hanley: Here is the promised images of the underside of the local "Burying Beetle" , I can see the yellowish mid section on the ventral side on the specimen better than it shows in my images. Is this critter really an endangered Species!?
