Harris's Three Spot Caterpillar - Harrisimemna trisignata

The black thing hanging below the head is a head capsule that got stuck while shedding. I once encountered another individual with several of these attached. The account at Caterpillars of Eastern Forests notes that the head capsules may accumulate.

Who's got a photo of the adult for the guide page?

frustrated
We have this incredibly strong memory of someone submitting an adult earlier and now we can't figure out what happened to it. Suppose they might have just deleted it after it got identified. But it sure has driven us crazy looking for it!

Me too
I thought I remembered one as well but couldn't find it last night.
