Laphria
Very fine shot of the male and female. L index and L ithypyga are separable only by the male genitals which could be seen on a close shot. Linked as these are, it would not be possible. Does show how the male has quite a bit more white facial hair than the larger female. The other golden haired pair like this are aktis and sericea. And the thorax almost looks like it is tending toward the non-triangular hair arrangement of that pair. Odd, but I think index/ithypyga.

Looking at the dorsal shot, this may be a different species. L aeatus has a different golden pile shape posteriorly. Not strictly narrow triangular. I have never seen that species. And Laphria calvescenta is known only from Michigan but certainly seems to come close to this by description.
