Goldenrod rosette/bunch gall, top - Rhopalomyia solidaginis

Size: large
The midge Rhopalomyia solidaginis in the rosette gall is in the pupal stage. Below, a couple of nice fat Eurosta soiidaginis larvae in the spherical galls.
