This was lurking on the ceiling in my bedroom and something bit me about 20 times during the night...itchy red welts. No new bites since I put this thing in a jar. It's pretty small and has some marking on its back with a light design. I couldn't find anything that looked like an exact match but the cream home spider looks the closest(Chiracanthium mildei) I also had some unexplained muscle spasms which have stopped. I'm not sure if this spider is something serious or not.

It is indeed a cellar spider. Harmless.
