Ceratina acantha or other Zadontomerus? - Ceratina

Ceratina acantha or other Zadontomerus? - Ceratina
San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, USA
September 26, 2015
Size: >5mm
Small bee resembles Ceratina acantha? I attempted the Discover Life ID tree and selected (hopefully correctly) Acute femoral tooth shape & preoccipital ridge without a carina. The white markings on the face seemed similar to acantha. Discrepancies: bronze coloring, white hair on legs, brown tarsus. These discrepancies makes me wonder if this is a Ceratina nanula. In one image I didn't upload, you can see the structure that connects the head to the thorax (I'd call it a neck). It is white in color.
Captured in urban garden on Erigeron glacus.
