Moved from Scleropogon.

Fantastic robber
And Dr. Cannings will no doubt know this one in his home territory immediately. I have not seen a species live of either genus Scleropogon or Stenopogon. This is surely a member of those two closely related genera. In BC there are two in each genus. Scleropogon bradleyi and Scleropogon neglectus. Stenopogon are inquinatus and rufibarbis. This is not inquinatus, the widespread species. And I don't think it is rufibarbis. I will leave which Sclero this is to Cannings and Fisher.

Dr. Cannings states that Stenopogon inquinatus is extremely variable even within local populations from all orangish to almost all blackish. He believes this is S. inquinatus. And compare it to the female pictured on my website on 'Other Robbers' page. Impressive variation.
