Fragile Forktail Damselfly - Ischnura posita - male

Fragile Forktail Damselfly - Ischnura posita - Male
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
June 1, 2007
Size: Approx. 1.75 in. long
I think this is some kind of Dragonfly, but am not sure. It flew around very slowly and just landed on any blade of grass or fence rung it felt like. It was rather later in the afternoon when I took this picture, and trees were blocking the sun, too, so it's kind of dark. I hope it's good enough to be able to identify it with.

Moved
Moved from Eastern Forktail.
