Steatoda variata? - Asagena fulva - female

Steatoda variata? - Asagena fulva - Female
Overton Wildlife Management Area, Clark County, Nevada, USA
September 25, 2015
Size: 4.5 mm
My wife found this attractive theridiid under a rock. We photographed it while it "played dead" and then I collected it to preserve as a specimen. The dorsal abdominal pattern matches one of the illustrations of S. variata in Gertsch, but the epigynum is perhaps not such a great match?

Thanks Laura -
not sure how I missed that - I agree the epigynum and spermathecae look like an excellent match...
