Help with this please - Calligrapha californica

Help with this please - Calligrapha californica
Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
Size: .5cm
This little beauty is on perennial daisy plant in my garden - any help would be appreciated.

Host plant (Asteraceae) fits for
. . .either Calligrapha californica, or species of Zygogramma.

I agree...
I finally had time to check and see if it was what I had thought it to be.... "I stand corrected." :) The bars are certainly too few and wide to be a Colorado Beetle.

...
Not my old buddy from UVic Hamish?

A different Hamish
Sorry, Sean. Not your ol' buddy. Hamish is actually my grandson and he's a few years away from attending UVIC.

Colorado Potato Beetle...
Either that or Colorado Potato Bug... I'm pretty sure it's beetle, though. ...I don't have any books with me right now. :(

Potatoe Beetle
I think "mine" have fewer stripes - maybe they are immature? Thanks.

May be related to
Calligrapha californica, in the guide here

Red and Orange Little Beauties
Calligrapha californica subsp. coreopsivora - that's it!

Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
