Dance fly
A dance fly (Empididae) of the tribe Empidini. I cannot be entirely certain of the genus but I suspect Empis. The difference with the genus Rhamphomyia is the presence of a fork in the posterior radial vein. In specimens with dark veins this would be easy to distinguish but in specimens with milky white veins the fork is sometimes difficult to find even under a microscope. The whole aspect of the specimen gives me a more Empis-like impression, though.
