Midge - Cricotopus - male

Midge - Cricotopus - Male
Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, USA
May 26, 2007
Size: 5 mm
A male midge. Linked is what I guess to be a female of the same species. The 5 mm measurement does not include the legs and antennae. Came to UV light.

Moved
Moved from Midges.

According to John Epler, this is might be C. bicinctus.
